HGV Class 2 Training in Kent (Category C Licence)

What does Class 2 HGV training cost?
Training price: £1,195 + VAT. Including the DVSA tests, the full cost is £1,644 all in. That covers the Off-Road Exercises Test (£40), the On-Road Driving Test (£115) and Driver CPC Part 4. DVSA fees are not VAT-rated, so they are added after VAT rather than before it.
Finance is available through Snap Finance, and we will tell you the full cost before you commit. There are no hidden extras added later.
What is a Class 2 licence?
A Class 2 licence is the common name for Category C. It lets you drive a rigid lorry over 3.5 tonnes with a trailer up to 750kg. It is the usual first step into professional lorry driving, and it is the licence most Kent employers ask for when recruiting new drivers. If you later want to drive an articulated lorry, Class 2 is the route to Class 1 (Category C+E).

How long does it take?
Five days of training at our Kent centre, once your medical, provisional entitlement and theory test are complete. Most learners go from first enquiry to licence in six to ten weeks, depending on DVSA test availability.
