Car to Class 1 HGV Training in Kent (Fast Track C+E)

Step straight from a car licence to the top level of HGV driving. This course is built for new entrants who want to fast-track into articulated lorry work, trunking and long-distance logistics, without spending time and money on the wrong route first.

What does Car to Class 1 cost?

£2,706 all in. That is the complete cost from car licence to Class 1, including training and DVSA test fees. There is no separate bill arriving later.

Can you really go from car to Class 1 directly?

Yes. You still have to pass Category C before Category C+E, but you do not need to stop, find work and come back. This course runs both stages back to back as one programme, which is faster and cheaper than booking them separately.

How long does it take?

Most learners complete the full route in eight to twelve weeks from first enquiry, depending on DVSA test availability and how quickly the medical and provisional application are returned.

Where do I train and test?

Training is at our Sittingbourne centre with DVSA-approved instructors on full-size articulated vehicles. You test at the Gillingham DVSA test centre, on the routes you have already driven during training.

Is there work at the end of it?

Class 1 drivers are in consistent demand across supermarkets, parcel networks, general haulage and trunking. When you pass, we introduce you to local and national operators in our network who are actively recruiting.
