Who is an HGV refresher course for?

Do I need to retake my test?
No. A refresher is training, not a test. Your licence stays valid. This is about confidence and technique, not requalifying. If your Driver CPC has lapsed, that is a separate matter and we can talk you through the return-to-driving route.
What does the session cover?
One-to-one practical coaching, real-world vehicle handling and a safety refresh, tailored to Category C, C1, D1 or D depending on your licence. Delivered by DVSA-qualified instructors at our Sittingbourne training site, with flexible scheduling.
How long does it take?
Most refreshers are a single day, shaped around what you actually need rather than a fixed syllabus. We will ask what is worrying you before you arrive and build the session around it.
