A family business. Kent's biggest HGV school.
Learn2Pass is family-run. Our founder has been an instructor his whole working life. He ran an HGV school in London for 15 years, then started Learn2Pass here in Kent in 2011.
We've grown into Kent's biggest and most-reviewed HGV school. Every course is still one-to-one: one learner, one instructor, one truck.

How much does HGV training cost in Kent?
Our prices are all in, with VAT and DVSA test fees included. Car to Class 1 (C+E) is £2,826 for 28 hours of one-to-one training over eight days. Class 2 (C) is £1,764 for 18 hours over five days. The Class 1 upgrade, PCV and D1 are £1,829 each, and C1 is £875. Every course comes with our Price Match Guarantee.
Can I spread the cost?
Yes. You can spread the cost with Snap Finance, subject to status. Check your eligibility online, or call us and we'll talk you through it.
How long does it take?
The training takes days, not months: five days for Class 2, PCV or D1, eight days from car to Class 1 and three days for C1. Before training you need a D4 medical, provisional entitlement and your theory tests, and we help with each one. Depending on your availability, we can often get you started within 5 to 7 days.
Do I need any experience?
No. Most of our learners start with just a car licence. If you hold a full car licence and pass the medical, we can take you from beginner to qualified driver.
Is the training one-to-one?
Yes. You have your own DVSA-approved instructor in the cab for your lessons, from your first drive to test day.
Where do you train, and where is the test?
Training runs from our centre at Sittingbourne Logistics Park, Swale Way, ME10 2FF. Practical tests are at the Gillingham DVSA test centre. Learners join us from across Kent and Medway.
Can you help me find work after I pass?
Yes. We introduce new drivers directly to employers across Kent, including Nicholls, Ocado, Swain, Chalkwell, JBS and Travelmasters.
Do you train drivers for businesses?
Yes. We train drivers for 20+ business clients, from a single new starter to a whole fleet, including Driver CPC Module 4 and refresher training. Get in touch to talk about your team.
