Car to C+E (Class 1) Courses
Due to recent licence changes, you can now go straight from a car licence direct to a C+E Articulated (Class 1) licence. You still need to be a minimum of 18 years of age and complete an LGV medical, obtain a provisional LGV entitlement on your licence and pass the relevant theory tests before booking a practical driving course with us.
Your first 3 days will be spent in one of our rigid vehicles to familiarise yourself and build confidence driving a much larger vehicle. This will then help you with the transition into the driving seat of the C+E (artic).
We offer you the choice of your training and test to be conducted in either a traditional articulated vehicle or wagon and drag, more commonly known as a drawbar combination. Either type will still give you the full C+E (Class 1) licence entitlement.
The course is provided from our base in Kent.
